May 2021 Lesson In Living

In religion, if someone should inquire which is more imperative (Duty or Motivation), the answer, in order to be well-pleasing unto the Lord, would simply be that both are essential. They go hand-in-hand. To try and separate them is about like someone asking a building contractor which is more important, the hammer or the saw? A building cannot be erected without both. The psalmist said “With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!”  (Psalms 119:10).
