If God really inspires the scriptures, then they are infallible, inerrant, and authoritative (2Tim 3:16-17). Thus, in religion, man alone is incapable of being a trustworthy source of authority for others. Only the Bible, as God’s objective and final standard, can fill the need as a source of faith and authority (Jer. 10:23; Prov. 14:12; Rom. 10:17; Jude 3; 1Pet. 4:11. So, we need to listen to God!
